What a Paradox

The words spoken perfectly fit for the both of us--we are doing a grave mistake. But our relationship can't be considered as romantic. When we had crossed each other's direction, our black eyes met. We were thinking of the same exact idea, and we said the same words to each other. I laughed when he had spoken of it first. Ha-Ha. It's not a coincident. Sigh. An attempt that hadn't even started. Hands down. I lost.

A Sad Little Girl
Posted by sabelling at 04:40 PM on October 5, 2008.
She lives a good life. She talks to people as if the person she talks to is the only person in that room--she never takes our her eyes out of that person's sight. Her eyes gleams when you call out her name. She smiles at you in a twinkling when both of your eyes meet. She isn't as pretty as the women you see on T.V. or perhaps in big billboards. Her beauty is average--not pretty yet not ugly. She walks as if there is no sense of direction. She goes left then she turns her way to the opposite. Confusing as her way of walking, she also talks randomly. She talks about this and after a few minutes she will talk about that. But she is the saddest little girl I've known. Fragile and weak, she conceals her other self from many as she never liked being frowned upon. She may laugh hard with you, but try to look at her eyes and you will see the real meaning of it. Her hugs are really tight, but try to feel the warmth of her small palms on you and you will understand her message. A sad little girl. Another sad little girl who deserves happiness more than anyone else.

Beyond Borders

I stumbled upon a very interesting story, inside vogue's latest mag issue (october 2008). Christina Thompson, a woman that belongs to the upper class society, tells her story of falling in love with her husband who is completely the total opposite of herself. A very warm story of two very different people that fell into each others arms. Lovely

for not updating you much tabby. Everything happened so fast and was almost a blur...i was running after time. If only I could stretch my 24 hrs for it's not enough to do all the things that needs to be done.
Anyway, here are the things that had happened and I'm posting them in random (depends on how I remember them, really)
- Ateneo bagged the UAAP championship for Men's basketball! Yey! A friend invited me to celebrate with Ateneans in a bonfire originally sheduled on Oct 11th, however, t'was moved on Sept 30th (Tiu's-day & end of Rabeh-dan, as per Chris' blog) and I wasn't able to come due to work. Grrr!
- I might be out of the webbie world for quite some time because I'm planning to have my internet connection cut by next week. Smart Bro's service is really crappy and I'll be changing my provider to Globe (abot mo ang mundo
).
- Joan & Robe already filed their resignation yesterday *sobs*
- I'm still dwelling on the fact that I lost my bluetooth usb. I'm planning to buy a new one today so I can upload my phone pics...my Twilight Tee pics.
- We celebrated Dr. B's birthday with a surprise! We bought him red wines, a cake and a humungous birthday card. I photoshopped some photos and attached it on the card. The result, we no longer have to take a final exam, rather, he just provided us 2 questions for a take home exam and that's it. Also, he moved the submission of research papers on Sept 30th instead of the 27th. Yesterday, I recieved a text message from my classmates saying that because Dr. B's email can no longer accept new mail, he decided to move the submission date AGAIN! New submission date will be on Oct 4th. I think we should surprise him more often

- Friendster blogs have a new look. Sadly, I decided to leave it na for you tabby. I actually started my blogging life in there but I cannot keep much privacy and the features are REALLY limited. Simply put, I'm on hiatus in my friendster blog.
- In a lil more than a month, Twilight na! Yey! Can't wait for the movie. Sightings of posters and other promotional items are already present in some malls all over the country *fangirl screams*
- I want an ODM watch
- I wanna change my layout. I still love Twilight & Edward Cullen, but I want a simpler one. I love Dee's layout! I also adore Dee's layout, and another Dee's too! (there are a number of Dees here in tabulas
) I might do some changes in my layout pretty soon. I just hope laziness won't struck me pretty soon too.
- I wanna learn how to play the guitar again
- I miss drawing in my sketchbook
- I want to own a Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet

to end this post, here's a pic of my 201 class. T'was really fun having these guys around...love you classmates! I'll see you next sem!

yes...Dr. Binghay is THAT big. But he's nice..

A Very Exasperating Wednesday Morning
Posted by sabelling at 12:36 PM on October 2, 2008.
Because of the following reasons:
(1) I and cousins had to wake up really early since my grandmother was scheduled for operation at Mountain View Hospital which is 20 some miles away from our hotel. We barely had enough sleep to kick off the day as we had walked the strip the night before with fellow friends (well obviously we spent a lot of energy going here and there) and drove to tea planet to grab a boba drink and stayed there till wee morning. We were seriously knocked out. We even got lost inside the hotel itself.
(2) Everyone thought that lola was going to have her operation today but it got cancelled. Because of miscommunication. Yesterday, she had a cardio test and they pretty much injected her some medicines that had a radiaton effect. When she came to the hospital and went on to the surgery waiting room, a nurse came to her and asked what was the purpose why she was there. Dumbfounded and confused, my grandmother said that she was going to have a Masectomy operation scheduled that very morning. What appalled me most was when the nurse didn't have any medical record of my grandmother nor any idea that my grandmother was scheduled for a surgical operation. My grandmother herself tookout the paperwork she has in hand, where in fact the hospital should have had it beforehand. Another nurse came to check on her and saw the big black bruise on her right hand. When my grandmother broke the cardio test down, the nurse told her she is not supposed to have her operation done today because they would have to give her medicines, again, that has a radiation effect in her body and that will affect her kidney really bad. She's 81 and her body is not capable of handling it anymore. So they cancelled it.
(3) When my grandmother waited for the surgeon to speak with him with regard to her case, we had spent 3 hours inside the waiting room before he showed up. How terrible was that? (Okay, so the doctor came) And One more thing that surprised me was when the doctor said that "missing paperwork" is a natural phenomena. I was like "seriously, are you kidding me? I could sue your nurses for that?"
(4) While we were waiting for my grandmother, I stumbled upon an article in the newspaper stating that a controversial infection had spread in that hospital. Talk about wrong place at the wrong time?
I promise to run yet again
